The Flanged Gate Valve is designed for reliable on/off isolation in industrial piping systems where a straight-through, low-resistance flow path is required. By raising or lowering the internal gate, the valve can fully open the pipeline or shut off the flow completely.

Flanged Gate Valve Product Overview

The SIYelectric Flanged Gate Valve is an industrial isolation valve designed to start or stop fluid flow in a pipeline. It uses a gate-shaped disc inside the valve body. When the handwheel is turned to lift the gate, the flow passage opens. When the gate is lowered, the valve blocks the flow and isolates the pipeline.

Unlike ball valves, which use quarter-turn operation, gate valves are generally operated by multiple turns of a handwheel. They are especially suitable for applications where the valve is normally either fully open or fully closed, rather than frequently used for throttling.

The flanged connection provides a strong bolted joint to the piping system, making the valve suitable for larger pipelines and industrial installations that require reliable sealing, easy alignment, and convenient maintenance.


Product Description

A flanged gate valve is commonly used in piping systems where full flow capacity and low flow resistance are important. When the valve is fully open, the gate is lifted out of the flow path, allowing the medium to pass through with minimal obstruction.

SIYelectric flanged gate valves are manufactured by investment casting and are available in stainless steel materials such as CF8 / SS304, CF8M / SS316, and European material grades EN 10213 1.4308 / 1.4408. These material options allow the valve to be selected according to the medium, corrosion requirement, pressure, temperature, and project standard.

This valve can be supplied according to common international standards, including ASME B16.34, BS EN 12516-1, ASME B16.5, and BS EN 1092-1, making it suitable for international industrial projects, replacement applications, and process piping systems.
