Flange Pipp Fittings

Flanged Pipe Fittings are used to connect pipes, valves, instruments, and process equipment through bolted flange connections. They provide a strong, removable, and reliable connection for industrial piping systems where easy installation, maintenance, and pressure sealing are required.

These fittings are commonly used in chemical processing, oil and gas, water treatment, power plants, HVAC systems, pressure instrumentation, and general industrial pipelines. Stainless steel materials such as SS304, SS316, and SS316L can be selected according to the medium, pressure, temperature, and corrosion requirements.

Flanged Pipe Fittings Product Overview

Stainless Steel Flanged Pipe Fittings are designed for connecting industrial pipelines, valves, instruments, vessels, and process equipment. They use flange-to-flange bolted connections, allowing the piping system to be assembled, removed, inspected, or maintained more conveniently than welded-only connections.

Compared with threaded fittings, flanged pipe fittings are more suitable for larger pipe sizes, higher mechanical strength requirements, and applications where regular maintenance or equipment replacement may be needed.

They are widely used in process piping, pressure measurement systems, fluid transfer lines, water treatment equipment, chemical plants, oil and gas systems, power generation, and industrial utility pipelines.

Product Description

A flanged pipe fitting is a piping component with a flange connection at one or both ends. It is used to connect pipelines or equipment by bolts, nuts, and gaskets. The gasket between two flange faces provides sealing, while the bolts provide mechanical clamping force.

Stainless steel flanged pipe fittings are commonly selected when the system requires good corrosion resistance, reliable sealing, and convenient disassembly. They can be supplied in different structures, such as flanged adapters, flanged reducers, flange pipe spools, flange connectors, and special flanged transition fittings.

In pressure instrumentation applications, these fittings can also be used with flanged pressure transmitters, diaphragm seal pressure transmitters, differential pressure level transmitters, gauge valves, flushing rings, and instrument connection assemblies.

Common Types

Flanged Pipe Connector

Used to connect two pipe sections or equipment interfaces with standard flange connections.

Flanged Reducer

Used to connect two different pipe or flange sizes. In pressure transmitter applications, it can enlarge a small vessel nozzle to provide a better mounting interface for diaphragm seal transmitters.

Flanged Adapter

Used to adapt a pipeline flange to another connection type or instrument interface.

Flanged Pipe Spool

A short pipe section with flanges at both ends, often used for installation spacing, pipeline extension, or equipment connection.

Custom Flanged Fittings

Can be made according to site requirements, including special length, flange standard, bore size, sealing face, wall thickness, and material.

Key Features

Strong Flanged Connection

Flanged connections provide a secure bolted structure suitable for industrial piping systems and process equipment.

Easy Installation and Removal

Compared with welded connections, flanged fittings can be removed more easily during inspection, maintenance, or replacement.

Stainless Steel Construction

Available in stainless steel materials such as SS304, SS316, and SS316L, providing corrosion resistance and durability in industrial environments.

Suitable for Pressure Instrumentation

Can be used as connection accessories for pressure transmitters, diaphragm seal systems, DP level transmitters, flushing rings, gauge valves, and instrument assemblies.

Custom Flange Standards

Can be manufactured according to ASME, EN, DIN, JIS, GB, or project-specific flange standards.

Multiple Sealing Face Options

Available with common sealing faces such as RF, FF, RTJ, or customized designs according to the pipeline and gasket requirement.

Applications

Industrial Piping Systems

Used to connect pipelines, valves, pumps, tanks, vessels, and process equipment in general industrial fluid systems.

Pressure Transmitter Installation

Flanged pipe fittings can be used as transition or connection accessories for flanged pressure transmitters and diaphragm seal pressure transmitters, especially when the site flange size or installation length needs adjustment.

Differential Pressure Level Measurement

In tank level applications, flanged fittings can help connect single flange or dual flange differential pressure level transmitters to vessel nozzles. If the original nozzle is too small, a flanged reducer or adapter can be used to enlarge the process connection and improve measurement reliability.

Chemical and Petrochemical Processes

Suitable for chemical pipelines, reactors, storage tanks, dosing systems, and process skids where stainless steel corrosion resistance and removable flange connections are required.

Oil and Gas Systems

Used in oil, gas, fuel, utility, sampling, flushing, and auxiliary process pipelines where secure bolted connections are needed.

Water Treatment and Wastewater Systems

Applied in filtration systems, pumping stations, treatment units, sludge systems, desalination systems, and water distribution pipelines.

Power Generation and HVAC

Used in steam-related auxiliary lines, cooling water systems, chilled water lines, heating water systems, and plant utility pipelines.

Selection Notes

When selecting stainless steel flanged pipe fittings, confirm the following details:

  1. Fitting type
Confirm whether you need a flanged connector, reducer, adapter, pipe spool, or custom flanged fitting.
  2. Flange size and standard
Confirm flange standard, nominal size, pressure class, and bolt hole dimensions.
  3. Material requirement
    • SS304: suitable for water, air, oil, and mild industrial media.
    • SS316 / SS316L: better for chemical, coastal, corrosive, or more demanding environments.
    • Carbon steel: suitable for general industrial service where corrosion is not severe.
  4. Pressure rating
Confirm whether the system requires PN16, PN25, PN40, Class 150, Class 300, or another rating.
  5. Sealing face type
Confirm whether the flange face should be RF, FF, RTJ, or another type.
  6. Instrument application
If used with pressure transmitters or diaphragm seals, confirm the diaphragm flange size, bolt length, gasket type, and installation clearance.
  7. Medium characteristics
For corrosive, viscous, crystallizing, dirty, or slurry media, select suitable material and avoid small process openings when possible.
