Hex Couplings

SIYelectric Stainless Steel Hex Couplings are designed to connect two threaded pipes, fittings, valves, or instruments in industrial piping and instrumentation systems.

The hexagonal body allows easy tightening with a wrench, making installation and disassembly more convenient during assembly, maintenance, or replacement. Manufactured from stainless steel, the coupling provides good mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, and reliable sealing performance when used with suitable thread standards and sealing methods.

Hex couplings are commonly used in instrument connection lines, pressure measurement assemblies, sampling systems, hydraulic and pneumatic panels, process skids, gas lines, and general industrial piping systems.

Key Functions

Threaded Pipe Connection

The hex coupling connects two compatible male-threaded components in a straight line. It is used when pipelines, valves, instruments, or fittings need to be extended or joined securely.

Easy Wrench Installation

The hex body design provides flat surfaces for wrench tightening, helping make installation, removal, and maintenance easier in compact industrial layouts.

Reliable Sealing Support

With proper thread matching, sealing tape, sealant, or gasket selection, the coupling helps provide a stable and leak-resistant threaded connection.

Compatible Instruments and Components

This stainless steel hex coupling can be used with:

  • Pressure transmitters
  • Pressure gauges
  • Pressure switches
  • Needle valves
  • Gauge valves
  • Ball valves
  • Instrument manifolds
  • Calibration and test ports
  • Sampling lines
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic fittings
  • Analyzer and gas panel connections

For pressure instrument assemblies, hex couplings are often used to connect gauge valves, pressure gauges, pressure transmitters, extension pipes, adapters, or threaded process connections.

Typical Applications

Pressure Instrument Connection

Used in pressure gauge and pressure transmitter installations where two threaded components need to be joined, extended, or adapted in a compact line.

Instrument Panels and Process Skids

Suitable for instrument panels, control cabinets, analyzer systems, dosing skids, and compact process assemblies where secure threaded connections are required.

Sampling and Calibration Lines

Applied in sampling systems, calibration ports, test benches, and pressure test lines where fittings and valves need to be connected or replaced conveniently.

Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems

Used in hydraulic power units, pneumatic control panels, actuator lines, and auxiliary equipment connections requiring threaded coupling.

Industrial Fluid and Gas Systems

Suitable for compatible water, oil, gas, steam, chemicals, and utility media. Material, thread type, sealing method, and pressure rating should be selected according to actual working conditions.

Advantages

  • Straight threaded coupling design connects two male-threaded components securely.
  • Hexagonal body allows easy wrench tightening and removal.
  • Stainless steel construction provides corrosion resistance and mechanical strength.
  • Suitable for pressure instruments, valves, fittings, and process piping.
  • Compact structure supports installation in panels, skids, and limited spaces.
  • Useful for instrument extension, threaded adaptation, maintenance, and replacement.
  • Applicable to fluid, gas, hydraulic, pneumatic, chemical, and industrial process systems.
  • Thread standard, material, and pressure rating options can be selected according to site requirements.
