The SIYelectric Stainless Steel Male to Female Thread 1/2″ NPT Lagging Extension Body Gauge Valve is designed for pressure instrument isolation, venting, calibration, and maintenance in industrial process lines.
It is commonly installed between the process connection and a pressure gauge, pressure switch, pressure transmitter, or pressure monitoring device. The valve allows operators to isolate the instrument from the process line, release trapped pressure, and remove or calibrate the instrument more safely without interrupting the main process.
The lagging extension body provides extra installation length, making it suitable for insulated pipelines, high-temperature lines, or applications where the pressure instrument needs to be extended away from the pipe surface for easier access and visibility.
