Pressure Transmitter Mounting Bracket

The Pressure Transmitter Mounting Bracket is used to install and support pressure transmitters, differential pressure transmitters, smart transmitters, and DP level transmitters on 2-inch pipes, walls, panels, or instrument stands. It provides stable mechanical support and helps reduce stress on impulse lines, manifolds, valves, and process connections.

Also known as a transmitter mounting bracket, instrument mounting bracket, pipe mounting bracket, or 2-inch pipe mounting bracket, it is a common accessory for pressure and differential pressure transmitter installation in oil and gas, chemical plants, power plants, water treatment, and general industrial automation systems.

Pressure Transmitter Mounting Bracket Product Overview

The SIYelectric Pressure Transmitter Mounting Bracket is an installation accessory designed to fix pressure instruments securely in the field. It is commonly used with pressure transmitters, differential pressure transmitters, smart pressure transmitters, flange pressure transmitters, and differential pressure level transmitters.

In many industrial applications, the transmitter should not be supported only by impulse lines, manifolds, or process connections. A proper mounting bracket provides stable mechanical support, helps maintain instrument position, and reduces vibration or piping stress transferred to the transmitter body.

This product is widely used for 2-inch pipe mounting, wall mounting, panel mounting, and instrument stand installation.

Product Description

A pressure transmitter mounting bracket is normally installed together with bolts, U-bolts, plates, clamps, or support arms. It allows the transmitter to be mounted on a vertical pipe, horizontal pipe, wall, panel, or field instrument stand.

For differential pressure transmitters, the mounting bracket is especially important because the transmitter is often connected with a 3-valve manifold, 5-valve manifold, impulse lines, drain valves, and process tapping points. Without a stable bracket, the weight of the transmitter and manifold may put unnecessary stress on the impulse piping.

For pressure transmitters and flange-mounted instruments, the bracket can also help improve installation stability, visibility, and maintenance convenience.

Common applications include:

  • pressure transmitter installation
  • differential pressure transmitter installation
  • smart transmitter field mounting
  • DP level transmitter installation
  • transmitter and manifold assembly support
  • instrument stand mounting
  • pipe mounting and wall mounting

Key Features

Stable Instrument Support

The bracket provides a firm installation base for pressure transmitters and differential pressure transmitters, reducing the risk of loose mounting or vibration-related movement.

Reduces Stress on Impulse Lines

A proper mounting bracket helps prevent the transmitter weight from being carried by impulse pipes, manifolds, gauge valves, or process connections.

Suitable for 2-Inch Pipe Mounting

Many transmitter brackets are designed for installation on a 2-inch pipe, instrument stand, or mounting post, which is a common field installation method.

Supports Wall or Panel Installation

Depending on the bracket structure, it can also be used for wall mounting, panel mounting, or skid-mounted instrument assemblies.

Compatible with Pressure and DP Transmitters

Suitable for pressure transmitters, differential pressure transmitters, smart transmitters, flange pressure transmitters, remote seal transmitters, and DP level transmitters.

Multiple Material Options

Available in carbon steel, stainless steel, or coated steel depending on corrosion conditions, site environment, and project requirements.

Easy Installation and Maintenance

The bracket provides better instrument positioning, making wiring, calibration, inspection, and replacement more convenient.

Applications

Pressure Transmitter Installation

Used to mount pressure transmitters on pipes, walls, panels, or instrument stands. It helps keep the transmitter stable and accessible for operation and maintenance.

Differential Pressure Transmitter Installation

Commonly used with differential pressure transmitters installed for flow measurement, liquid level measurement, filter differential pressure monitoring, and process pressure difference measurement.

A typical installation may include:

Process Tapping Point → Impulse Line → Manifold → Differential Pressure Transmitter → Mounting Bracket

DP Level Transmitter Installation

Used with differential pressure level transmitters in tanks, vessels, boilers, chemical reactors, and storage systems. The bracket helps support the transmitter body and maintain a stable installation position.

Transmitter and Manifold Assemblies

Suitable for supporting assemblies that include a pressure transmitter or DP transmitter together with 2-valve manifolds, 3-valve manifolds, 5-valve manifolds, gauge valves, needle valves, or fittings.

Oil and Gas Industry

Used in field instrumentation for pressure, flow, level, and process monitoring in pipelines, wellhead equipment, gas systems, and auxiliary process units.

Chemical and Petrochemical Plants

Applied in reactors, pumps, filters, distillation columns, storage tanks, and process pipelines where transmitters require stable mounting and easy access.

Power Generation

Used for transmitter installation in boiler systems, steam lines, feedwater systems, turbine auxiliary systems, and plant utility pipelines.

Water Treatment and Industrial Utilities

Suitable for pressure and DP transmitter mounting in pumping stations, filtration units, water distribution systems, dosing systems, and process skids.

Selection Notes

When selecting a pressure transmitter mounting bracket, confirm the following details:

  1. Transmitter type
Confirm whether it is used for a pressure transmitter, differential pressure transmitter, flange transmitter, or DP level transmitter.
  2. Mounting method
Confirm whether the installation is 2-inch pipe mounting, wall mounting, panel mounting, or instrument stand mounting.
  3. Material requirement
    • Carbon steel: suitable for general industrial environments.
    • Stainless steel: better for corrosive, outdoor, chemical, coastal, or humid environments.
    • Coated steel: suitable where corrosion protection and cost balance are required.
  4. Bracket structure
Confirm whether the bracket should support inline pressure transmitters, coplanar DP transmitters, remote seal transmitters, or manifold-mounted assemblies.
  5. Bolt and U-bolt compatibility
Check bolt hole position, U-bolt size, clamp structure, and transmitter mounting holes.
  6. Site environment
For outdoor, corrosive, marine, chemical, or high-vibration environments, stainless steel or surface-treated brackets are recommended.
  7. Instrument accessibility
The bracket should allow enough space for wiring, LCD display viewing, manifold operation, calibration, and transmitter removal.
